Pony Gold is the project of Canadian singer-songwriter Theresa Anne Bromley, whose music blends folk roots with alt-country grit. Raised in rural northern British Columbia and shaped by years in recovery, Bromley transforms stories of addiction, abandonment, grief, and resilience into tender, unflinchingly honest songs. Australia’s Countrytown called her “one of Canada’s most compelling voices.”

Her debut album, High Road Reverie, was produced by Leeroy Stagger and released by Neon Moon Records in October 2025. Recorded live off the floor with musicians from City and Colour and Frazey Ford, the album reached the Top 5 on the national Earshot Roots, Folk & Blues chart and helped earn Pony Gold a 2026 Western Canadian Music Award nomination for BreakOut Artist of the Year. Her music has gathered 450,000 streams, with editorial playlist support from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon, and international airplay on CBC, SiriusXM North Americana, and ABC Country.

Pony Gold has performed at NXNE, Rifflandia, Sunfest, Phillips Backyard, and Winterruption, and supported artists including Cameron Whitcomb, The Sadies, JJ Shiplett, and Chaparelle. Following a summer touring across Canada, she was selected as an official showcase artist for the 2026 Folk Music Ontario conference.
